If My Son Has A Blog In The Future....

This is probably what he would write about me...

My dad wears a perpetual smile on his face.I know this is because he is actually a very shy person, and smiling is his facade. He seldom gets angry too, which is a good thing, but often says that when he's angry, only Hang Tuah can stop him, whatever that means. It is also very easy to please him,as he is a simpleton. To make him happy on his Birthday/Father's Day, just buy him a pair of Levi's jeans,or any other obscure brand from the 80s like Giordano or Bossini.Or I could just download a song from (insert futuristic version of Limewire/iTunes here) to his personal (insert futuristic iPod/Mp3s here). He loves listening to Pearl Jam,Nirvana,Metallica and other bands from the Jurassic age.I was told that these bands are like the (insert futuristic bands here) of his generation. My dad also loves collecting paraphernelia from 80s television shows like Star Wars and Battlestar Galactica.I find these toys lame because it seems that guys from his era are always trying to predict how the future will be,thus their fascination with science-fiction.My dad saw a different kind of Singapore, and so too my grandfather. He keeps on rambling about how Geylang Serai,Kallang Stadium and Punggol 21 were not how there were before.Three different versions of Singapore in just three generations.I guess the only thing that will be constant in this country is change.
