To My Dearest Wife...
for giving me beautiful children....
for providing me an instruction manual called 'How To Be A Good Father & Husband'
of which the lessons I am still learning...
for tolerating with all my nonsense
Let us go on a journey back in time..(9 years back)
When We First Met
Fate ensured that we met on MIRC and we hit off like old friends. I was taken by your sense of humour. You had just that right amount of playfulness. As the conversations progressed, we talked about deeper things. You sounded attentive and impressed and I was only to happy to carry on.
I am always rather reserved when a person accepts my invitation to meet in person. As much as there are guys who are blatant jerks online, the women-folk too can be just as scary. I had my share of bad blind dates
The day came and I was just thinking I was going to fly by this date like any other dates I have been on..
But when you came, the first thing that struck me was your eyes. Those beautiful, gorgeous eyes! Dear God, I couldn't stop looking at you. They way it looked to me when you smiled and when you looked at me when we shook hands. Dear God, those deep dark eyes. Its like if you looked at me longer you could see through me and know all about me.
I tried very hard not to look at you directly. I was like a boy who found something wonderful and new.
After the movies, we sat at Lido and we stayed on till quite late. And Father Time just flew by.
Before You Became My Wife
It was time for us to be oceans apart.I flew to Australia for studies.Three long years of long distance relationships. There were temptations to give it all up but we stayed true to each other.Cold, lonely nights were spent on expensive long distance calls(there was no Skype back then)and online chatting.Father Time flew by and it seems our love was strong enough to triumph over all obstacles. When I returned,we planned to spend the rest of our lives together. We shared these visions of married life and it leaves us with a warm, fuzzy feeling:

We will hold a romantic ceremony. All My Life will play in the background while we look into each other eyes with coying sweetness.
We'll spend the days watching tons of DVDs and you'll cook my favourite pasta dishes
At night, we'll be eating your latest culinary delight :Ayam Masak Kuzi, drinking hot chocolate, and discussing the results of the week's EPL
We will have two kids, a robust and brawny boy like ahem,me...named Mohd Daniel Macho Zidane, and a cute little girl like you,Nur Sarah Ereeka Nilam Sari.
We will buy a big house and a big car.We will bring our kids to Disneyland,USA,ski resorts and tour the whole of Europe.
Mohd Daniel Macho Zidane will be a doctor and Nur Sarah Ereeka Nilam Sari will be a teacher. Our life would be perfect.
Married LifeFather Time flew by and it's now been 5 years of married life. We've had our romantic ceremony. We've got the two kids that we planned: precious Aisyah and Aiman, the jewels in the centre of our lives.(luckily we gave them simpler names). We've got our own place to live.Look how far we've come, dear.Married life is full of challenges and at times we've come to a sad realisation that maybe we can't face them anymore. However,at what may seem like dead ends or the lowest points of our lives,we somehow managed to muster enough courage, put on a smile and soldiered on.That's when we tell ourselves"Hey..LIFE WILL NEVER BREAK OR TEAR US APART!!!..."
