What The Flood???

My aunt and her Malaysian husband resides in Kota Tinggi,Johor.The past month had been a mega disaster for Johoreans like them.Homes and properties over there have been ravaged by the floods,akin to the Katrina in the USA not so long ago. The shop owners of the famous Mini Kelantan are still crying over their huge losses.Now,they are bracing themselves for a possible third flood.These catastrophes of biblical proportions reminded me of Noah's Ark and also the movie 'The Day After Tomorrow".It is happening right at our doorsteps.If only some brainy scientist could come up with gigantic zip-lock plastic bags that can be placed over the homes to protect them from the damage.This year,a phenomenon called the El Nino would cause global temperatures,including that of Singapore,to rise drastically.It would eventually lead to deaths resulting from heat waves and also sudden storms.The ice caps at the two poles would break and melt and cause rising sea levels.When I hear Doomsday predictions like these,I become paranoid
