The Cream Will Always Rise To The Top

It is said that the cream will always rise to the top, and that good people will always be the first to drop.Four of my favourite celebrities sold their soul to the devil left this world at a young age.

Andy Geoffrrey Kaufman was a comedian specialising in anti-humour and dada absurdism. His brand of comedy involves tricking the audience, such as faking a heart attack in the middle of a performance.Kaufman died on May 16, 1984 at the age of 35 of lung cancer in Los Angeles, and was interred in the Beth David Cemetery in Elmont, New York (Long Island). He was diagnosed with the disease in December 1983, but kept the true nature of his health a secret, almost until the day he died. Over the years, fans doubted Kaufman's death, thinking that he staged it as the ultimate Andy Kaufman stunt. Friends and family said that Andy never smoked, didn't drink regularly, and was also a vegetarian. At the time, lung cancer was considered very rare for non-smokers to contract, and it is also rare in people under 50. Kaufman himself even said that if he were to fake his death; he would return 20 years later. On May 16, 2004, his surviving friends threw a 'Welcome Home Andy' party for him.

Bob Marley is not your ordinary marijuana-smoking stoner. He is the most widely known performer of reggae music, and is famous for having popularized the genre outside Jamaica. A faithful Rastafari, (bet you didnt know Rastafari was a religion)Marley is regarded by many as a prophet of the religion, as well as one of the greatest songwriters of all time.Needless to say,he died from cancer as a result of years of marijuana smoking. My favourite quote from Bob Marley is

"Emancipate yourself from mental slavery, only you can set yourself free"

Tupac Amaru Shakur (June 16, 1971September 13, 1996), also known by his stage names 2Pac and Makaveli, was an American rap artist, actor, activist, and poet. He was listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the best-selling rap/hip-hop artist ever, having sold over 73 million albums worldwide, including over 44.5 million sales in the United States alone. Most of Shakur's songs are about growing up around violence and hardship in ghettos, racism, and sometimes his feuds with fellow rappers.Shakur was shot five times, twice in the head, twice in the groin and once through the arm and thigh but miraculously survived. However,on 7th September 1999,Shakur was again hit four times, twice in the chest, and once each in his arm and thigh. This time it proved fatal for him.My favourite quote from Tupac

"Only God can judge me"

Kurt Cobain. No further description needed as everbody knows Kurt Cobain and what happened to him in the end.
