Let's Bid Adieu to 2005

2005 would be remembered for:

The Bad
1. The full realisation of the Tsunami catastrophe.One of the worst natural disasters that has ever occured in human history.
2. The feeling of being cheated by NKF's Durai and his cronies.I blogged about this in August.
3. Several gruesome murders involving cutting up of body parts.There were at least three cases this year.
4. Man found dead at Tampines void deck after allegedly murdering his family.Two adorable kids were involved and it makes me sick to even type this sentence.
5.Singapore was described as a barbaric,rogue Chinese port due to the hanging of an Australian drug-trafficker
6.Racial riots in France and Cronulla beach in Sydney
The Good
1. Star Wars Finale,Batman Begins and Kink Konk were shown this year.You may ask what is the big deal about this but it is very important to me.
2. Singapore economy and employment outlook is rosy.(According to the Straits Times, which is ranked 140th in the world for press freedom).
3.No repeat of last year's Tsunami on Boxing Day,as predicted by the naysayers.
4.Top terrorist leader and bomb expert Azahari was killed thus ending the series of Bali and Jakarta bombings.Hopefully.

2005 has its good and bad moments(cliche intended) and I just hope 2006 would be a much better year.
