Singapore is a safe country(Memories of National Service)

Singapore is a very safe country.Not because of Exercise Northstar V that was recently held,but because I am here defending it.Hehehe... check out this photo
taken during my BMT.It was there that I was groomed to join the Officer Cadet School(OCS)by being tasked to take on the role of Platoon Leader and Bunk IC.Being the wimp that I am, I started to chicken out and begin to fake injuries.That was my greatest regret as I often thought what if I had endured the training and achieved greater heights.After successfully faking injuries,I was being thrown out of course and was posted to the super-lobo 8-to-5pm Maju Camp.After 'achieving''what I wanted in NS, I put my heart and soul into my job and wanted to be the best soldier/technician there.My efforts did not go unnoticed,as ,my Logistics Readiness Inspection was the second best in Singapore.I was awarded a Letter Of Commendation from the General Of Armed Forces,my most cherished and accomplished moment in the army.
