I have just been informed that my estate will be upgraded with the following amneties in the next five years as part of Punggol-Pasir Ris GRC Enhancement program.Among others, we will have a
1) Gigantic Megamall-The Fernvale Point-Within walking distance from my place but hey,be more creative and drop the 'Point' thingey please?We already have Compass Point,North Point,East Point,Jurong Point....However,I shouldn't whine so much because I dont have to go to Orchard Road anymore for my shopping.
2)Fitness Point(again) and covered walkways-OK cool,something for the Senior Citizens.
3)Sports Complex and another Community Centre- What I've always wanted.
To the Punggollites,I am so sorry to say that you guys will have to come here to enjoy these amneties.Hehehe.Nyeh Nyeh Nyeh Nyeh...No petrol kiosk,no McDonald's,no badass Megamall,no library,no sports complex...Punggol will have to make do with a haunted house that it can be proud of.The Matilda House,to be exact,that is probably inhabited by Ju-On and Sadako.Dont fret,Punggolittes,your estate is touted to be the Waterfront Entertaintment Marina of the 21st Century..Hewhhehe...that will probably happen when my grandson grows a beard.
